LONG BEACH ISLAND – The Ocean County Library will host a blood drive by the American Red Cross from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, in the meeting room of the Long Beach Island Branch, 217 S. Central Ave., Surf City.

Blood donations are always needed. Registration is required. To register, visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-733-2767 to make an appointment.
