TOMS RIVER - The Ocean County Library will offer “Aquatic ABCs with the Center for Aquatic Sciences” at 10 branches during July.
Children will learn about aquatic animals from alligators to zebra sharks using letter cards and live animals.
The center will promote understanding, appreciation and protection of aquatic life and habitats to children at the branches.The programs teaches conservation as part of the library’s Summer Reading program, which features the theme of “Build a Better World.”
